Spotify playlist for the My Top Artist played for the week ending Sunday 26 February 2012. I got hung up on Arcade Fire this last week, I’m pretty certain I played there entire catalog then listened to a couple of choice songs in the evenings. However, most of the time I was listening to my Buried Treasures playlist on Spotify which contains older Rock/Soul/Blues: Muddy, Byrds, Dylan, The Band, The Who and The Stones. I’m also really enjoying the whole punk, garage rock, rockabilly sound now;  which is where the Compulsive Gamblers, Mr. Airplane Man, Les Sexareenos and Holly Golighty came in. View Larger

Spotify playlist for the My Top Artist played for the week ending Sunday 19 February 2012. I got a little stuck on Radiohead for a day last week and discovered Dylan has been added to Spotify. My wife and I went and saw Jack Oblivian this weekend, so I had to bring her up to speed. She’s always a good sport going to see a concert, even though she had never hear him before this weekend. We both had a great time; the concert was everything I could have hoped, great Rock and Roll. View Larger

This is a recap of my music I played for the week, using last.fm through Spotify. I hope to continue providing weekly updates of what I’m listening to and maybe even a monthly summary what I have discovered. We’ll see how that goes.  View Larger
